Self-Compassion – If you are feeling low energy and unmotivated to get things done. 1. Recognize it’s not your fault. You are not lazy or broken or flawed. 2. Get out of the “I should be doing this” or “I should be doing more” loop. It doesn’t help and this is not the time for tough love. 3. It’s a signal that it’s time to rest or time for a 15-20 min break to recharge, recover and regroup. Take a walk, talk to a friend, power nap, do some stretches or light exercise. 4. Introspection – recognize what you are feeling or how you are feeling besides unmotivated. Fearful? Frustrated? Overwhelmed? Tired? Sad?
